Glovarly

Roadmap

Glovarly is being built in stages. Here's what each stage involves and where things stand.

Phase 1In progress

Dictionary & Linguistic Foundation

Before any learning can happen, the data has to be right. We're building a multilingual dictionary covering 11 languages — roughly 15 million words with inflected forms, usage examples, and definitions. This is the foundation everything else runs on.

  • 11 languages in scope
  • ~15 million words — base forms and inflections
  • Usage examples and contextual definitions for each entry
  • Linguistic validation and data quality pipeline
Phase 2In progress

Learning Engine

The algorithms and mechanics that turn raw vocabulary data into effective study sessions. Spaced repetition tuned for language, session pacing, and a model for how learners move from recognising a word to actually using it.

  • Spaced repetition algorithm tuned for vocabulary
  • Session design — review cadence, load, recall modes
  • Vocabulary acquisition model: passive → active → fluent
Phase 3In progress

Mobile App

The first product: a vocabulary study tool for independent learners. Build word sets from your lessons, practice with spaced repetition, and track what you actually know. No gamification ceiling — study as much as you want.

  • Vocabulary practice for independent learners
  • SRS-powered review sessions
  • Word sets — build from lessons, books, or topics
  • Progress tracking and streak system
Phase 4Planned

Web Service

The second product: a workspace for tutors, teachers, and language schools. Assign vocabulary, track student progress, and manage your students — all in one place, built around your existing method.

  • Teacher and tutor workspace
  • Student zone with assignments
  • Vocabulary sets shared between teacher and students
  • Basic progress reports
Phase 5Planned

Closed Beta

Early-access users get in first. We run a closed beta across both the mobile app and the web service — to find what works, fix what doesn't, and make sure the product holds up under real conditions before opening wider.

  • Closed beta — invitations from early-access list
  • Real-world feedback loop and iteration
  • Performance, stability, and data quality hardening
Phase 6Planned

Full Feature Expansion

Once the core is proven, we build out the full platform: deeper tooling for schools and institutions, advanced analytics, flexible data import and export, and the integrations that make Glovarly fit into any workflow.

  • Full school and language institution plans
  • Advanced analytics and progress reporting
  • Bulk import and export — word sets, student data, curricula
  • Classroom management and group assignments
  • Integrations and API access
